Sales Associate – Optical - Part Time
About The Position
As a Sales Associate at America's Best, part of National Vision, you will be instrumental in providing an exceptional customer experience while contributing to store operations and sales objectives. This role involves assisting customers with eyewear selection, dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, providing lens training, educating on eyewear care, maintaining customer records, handling order status inquiries, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing. You will also support inventory control and loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Skilled at multi-tasking and handling a fast-paced work environment
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service while supporting store sales goals
- Help customers select eyewear based on lifestyle, prescription, and budget
- Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and provide lens training (as permitted by state law)
- Educate customers on eyewear and contact lens care
- Maintain accurate customer and patient records
- Communicate order status and answer incoming phone calls
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually merchandised to brand standards
- Support inventory control and loss prevention procedures
- Other duties as assigned
