Sales Associate Keyholder
About The Position
Express is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Keyholder to join our team. The Part-Time Sales Associate Keyholder provides a great in-store shopping experience for our retail customers and executes opening and closing procedures. Key Responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures such as balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system. The role also involves performing overrides at checkout as needed, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure the store is safe and inviting to customers. Additionally, the associate will follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all associates and customers, assist with product launch changes according to the company SOP, and deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model. Processing transactions quickly and accurately, reducing customer wait time, and positively resolving customer service-related issues as they arise are also key functions. The role drives credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer participation. Other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent
- 0-2 of relevant job experience - minimum 6 months
- Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
- Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours
- Meets physical requirements

- Previous retail experience preferred
- Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills specifically with customers, sales leadership team and associates
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Responsibilities
