Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate for our Leisure Time Store for our Territorial Mall Centre Store located in North Battleford, SK. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
You must be available for shifts during the day and weekends.
You must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ski/snowboard tuning, waxing, and binding adjustments (or willingness to learn).
Ability to perform basic bike maintenance (tire changes, brake adjustments) or interest in mechanical training.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and experience within a similar retail store is an asset, but not required.
PAL license and Sporting goods knowledge an asset.
Hunting, Fishing and Sporting Goods knowledge is an asset

Responsibilities

Provide safe, courteous, efficient, and customer-focused service in our Leisure Time Department.
Perform duties and responsibilities of a cashier when required.
Achieve a high level of sales by assisting guests, where required, in making good purchasing decisions by providing accurate information about the products which are sold in the department.
Maintain marketing efforts, signage, and merchandising standards of the department.
Maintain sanitation and safety standards of the department.
Ensure outstanding courteous guest service is always provided.
Assemble, set up, and maintain display models of outdoor products including BBQs, smokers, ice fishing shelters, and related equipment to ensure merchandise is showroom-ready.
