About The Position

At Drybar, we believe in focusing on one thing and being the best at it: blowouts. Our front desk team, called Bartenders, are crucial to creating an unforgettable experience for guests. They are the first smile, the friendly face, the problem solver, and the energy setter of the shop. This role is ideal for someone who loves talking to people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying organized, and genuinely cares about making someone's day brighter. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who can juggle multiple tasks, and is a reliable team player. Weekend availability is required, and reliability is non-negotiable.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced guest-focused environment.
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine love for people.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay positive and professional during busy periods.
• Comfortable standing and walking throughout a 6-8 hour shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability required.
• Dependable, coachable, hardworking, and excited to create amazing experiences every single day.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Salon, spa, beauty, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.
• Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality.
• Build relationships that turn first-time guests into loyal Drybar regulars.
• Keep the front desk running smoothly by managing reservations, answering phones, updating guest profiles, and solving scheduling challenges.
• Support our stylists by helping the day flow efficiently behind the scenes.
• Keep the shop beautiful by restocking products, organizing retail displays, maintaining cleanliness, and completing daily side work.
• Be a team player who jumps in wherever needed because everyone succeeds together.
