About The Position

This is a sales job. Drybar is a blow dry-only bar focused on providing the best blowouts. The company hires closers who are relentless, target-crushing sales professionals. The role requires selling memberships, making outbound calls, upselling services and products, and converting clients into loyal members. The ideal candidate is competitive, driven, and energized by the chase, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.

Requirements

• 1+ years of real sales experience (retail sales, membership sales, inside/phone sales, or any quota-carrying role) — required, no exceptions
• Totally comfortable and confident on the phone — making outbound calls and reaching out to members and prospects is second nature, not a chore
• A proven, documented track record of hitting and beating sales targets
• Elite closing skills — you overcome objections, create urgency, and ask for the sale every time
• A genuine, obvious hunger to sell — you're competitive, driven, and energized by the chase
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Track record of over-the-top, amazing customer service that keeps members coming back
• Ability to multitask with ease
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for the duration of 6–8 hour shifts
• Cool, confident, and professional under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Close memberships, relentlessly — pitch and sign up new members on every single visit.
• Live on the phones — crush a daily outbound call list: book appointments, win back lapsed members, chase down prospects, and reactivate your book.
• Beat your numbers — daily, weekly, monthly targets are the scoreboard, and you play to win.
• Upsell everything — add-ons, retail, upgrades, packages.
• Build your book and own it — turn one-time clients into loyal, recurring, revenue-generating members who refer their friends.
• Convert, convert, convert — walk-ins, first-timers, browsers. You don't let anyone leave without a reason to come back and pay.
