Requirements
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Food Lion's POS system.
- Knowledge of Food Lion products.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and scan items accurately.
- Handle customer transactions efficiently and courteously.
- Bag groceries and assist customers with their purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance when not operating the register.
