About The Position

Garden of Eden is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Sales Associates (Budtenders) for their Hayward location. This role involves consultative sales and retail operations within a fast-paced, compliant cannabis environment. The position requires a sales-driven, detail-oriented individual comfortable balancing customer service with inventory and compliance responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old
• Must be able to pass Live Scan background check and meet all state cannabis employment requirements
• 1+ year retail or customer service experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to support both sales floor and operational tasks

Nice To Haves

• Cannabis dispensary experience
• Treez POS experience
• Open and flexible availability (weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays)

Responsibilities

• Provide a consultative, education-driven sales experience
• Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
• Execute compliant POS transactions (cash handling required)
• Follow all cannabis compliance regulations
• Restock and replenish inventory on the sales floor
• Process incoming inventory, including barcode labeling and organization
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks
• Maintain product knowledge and support daily store operations
