This position will support the team that sells to special markets accounts. The role will include supporting our in-house team and our commissioned rep gift sales force. Requirements

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, commitment to quality and strong team player.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Associate’s Degree/College Diploma

  • Experience in publishing or with a literary agent a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the commissioned gift rep sales force, including attending seasonal gift shows.
  • Prepare title presentations for in-house accounts.
  • Oversee event orders and author orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams—including customer service, Publicity, and Marketing Operations.
  • Conduct industry research to build leads and help identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain account terms and grow key group accounts.
  • Manage sample mailings and sales materials.
  • Collaborate with the Trade sales support team.
