About The Position

The Sales Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to order processing, material transfer, logistics, documentation, customer service, and invoicing. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a potential benefit from product knowledge in metal products.

Responsibilities

Review all incoming purchase orders for accuracy.
Validate that customer part specifications and pricing are current.
Create and issue purchase orders (POs) to fabricators.
Assist with issuing processing orders to the inside sales team as required for raw materials.
Ensure materials are transferred to fabricators in a timely manner.
Manage procurement and logistics of fabricated parts, including both incoming and outgoing shipments.
Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) for fabricated parts shipping to customers.
Requisition purchase orders and coordinate with fabrication partners to ensure quality products are delivered on time.
Answer customer questions regarding scheduled deliveries.
Help resolve complaints about products to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Reconcile production reports and review them for new part setups.
Handle invoicing for fabrication.
Perform other duties as required by fabrication operations.
