About The Position
WIS-TV is seeking a Sales Assistant to help meet and exceed revenue goals. The candidate must be a team player, culture-focused, detail-oriented, professional, and able to regularly work on multiple projects under tight deadlines. This position requires professional customer service, data entry, and clerical support to the WIS Sales staff with occasional requirements outside of regular business hours. The WIS Sales Assistant reports to WIS Sales Management.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and eager to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience supporting local media sales, especially knowledge of Wide Orbit, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence
- Book and manage orders, TV and Digital
- Make PowerPoint presentations for sales staff
- Assist WIS Sales team with a variety of strategic and administrative tasks
