About The Position

The Sales Assistant will be responsible for processing and managing customer orders from receipt to shipment, supporting e-commerce transactions, monitoring inventory levels, and tracking customer orders through delivery. This role requires ensuring special customer requirements are accurately noted on orders, working effectively with sales personnel to resolve shipment issues, and implementing quick decisions and problem-solving in dynamic produce sales and production environments. The assistant will provide professional customer service in a fast-paced setting, focusing on process improvement and contributing to teamwork and workflow. The role also involves representing Mucci Group ethically and professionally in all interactions and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role with a focus on customer service and data entry
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English
Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and I-Trade and Famous
Excellent documentation, communication, computer and time management skills
Committed to customer service excellence and leading by example
A positive attitude in the workplace is required
Ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

College diploma in business or administrative studies is preferred

Responsibilities

Effectively process and manage customer orders from the time they are received until the product ships, utilizing internal computer and manual tracking systems
Provide support in managing e-commerce transactions
Monitor inventory levels
Track customer orders through delivery
Ensure special customer requirements are accurate, current and noted on orders
Work effectively with sales personnel to resolve any issues or disparities regarding shipments
Implement quick decisions and problem solving in sudden and unplanned situations that can occur in produce sales and production
Provide professional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow
Represent Mucci Group in an ethical and professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers and customers
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
