About The Position

This role is primarily responsible for the smooth, efficient, and timely execution of photography of vehicles for the dealership’s Internet website. The position also involves assisting sales management in daily responsibilities such as preparing vehicles for placement on the lot and other operational tasks. Additionally, the Sales Assistant / Photographer will assist sales staff and customers as needed.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web based applications utilized for operations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries desired.

Responsibilities

  • Photography of vehicles for the dealership’s Internet website.
  • Professionally edit, resize with text added, and post Internet photos.
  • Stock in inventory and prepare vehicles for service prep.
  • Perform Courtesy Deliveries.
  • Prepare Used Car Books.
  • Coordinate Lease Turn-Ins.
  • Assist Salespeople with Product Training.
  • Assist Salespeople Locate Vehicles.
  • Conduct Departmental Orientation of new employees.
  • Prepare Window Stickers / Merchandising for the used car lot.
  • Arrange / Track transport of incoming used vehicles.
  • Monitor Quality control of reconditioned vehicles for the front line.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
