About The Position

The Sales Application Engineer plays a critical role in supporting customers and driving business growth by delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements. In this customer-facing position, you will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to develop proposals, support customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline.
3-5 years of experience in Applications Engineering, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Support, or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
1-2 years experience with AutoCad drawings of varying complexity
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Experience with ERP and order management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams.
Respond to customer inquiries and support product selection, applications, pricing, and order status.
Review RFQs and develop accurate quotations and technical proposals.
Process and manage customer orders within ERP systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful order execution.
Develop bills of material and manufacturing documentation.
