About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for Sales and Support positions in various departments including Kids Apparel & Shoes, Women's Apparel, Shoes, Men's Apparel, Accessories, Lingerie. They are hosting a hiring event on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM at their Oak Park Mall location (11143 West 95th Street, Overland Park, KS 66214). Interviews will be approximately 1 hour, and on-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and if unable to attend the event, applications will still be considered.

Commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%.
The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
Grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Reaching for and lifting bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items above the head
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
