About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for Sales and Support positions. This includes roles in Women's Apparel, Kids Apparel & Shoes, Lingerie, Designated Selling Associate - Jack Victor - Men's Furnishings, Women's Shoes, Men's Apparel Stylist, and Women's Apparel Stylist. The company is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, May 7th, 2025, from 11 am to 5 pm at the Somerset store located at 2850 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084. Interviews will be conducted on-the-spot, and job offers may be made for most roles. The interview process is expected to take approximately one hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and if unable to attend the event, applications will still be considered.

Requirements

Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items.
Ability to reach for and lift items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers.
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift.
