Requirements

A high school diploma or GED.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
The ability to work throughout all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and registers.
The ability to safely operate store equipment and perform the physical requirements of the position.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing, reaching, and standing/walking for the entire shift)
Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.

Responsibilities

Become a "Boot Expert" through our comprehensive training program.
Welcome customers and provide outstanding, personalized service.
Recommend products and educate customers on features, fit, and styles.
Accurately process sales transactions while following cash handling procedures.
Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining attractive product displays.
Work closely with teammates to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked and organized.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment.
Receive and unload merchandise shipments.
Verify carton counts and packing lists for accuracy.
Organize merchandise in the stockroom and replenish the sales floor.
Maintain accurate inventory by organizing merchandise by brand, gender, style, and size.
Ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and displayed.
Monitor inventory for potential shrink or security concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom by breaking down boxes, disposing of trash, and following all safety procedures.
Assist with merchandising projects and inventory organization.
