Sales and Service Manager Floater

24 Hour Fitness•Fountain Valley, CA

About The Position

The Sales and Service Manager Floater (SSMF) ensures that the clubs they support deliver an outstanding, well-rounded sales and service experience to guests and members by offering membership, fitness, and retail products and services. The role hires and develops team members who build relationships, communicate the value of the company’s offerings, and focus on member acquisition and retention. The SSMF reviews processes and team effectiveness, drives guest and member engagement, and works toward sales revenue goals. Unlike a club-based Sales and Service Manager, the SSMF supports multiple clubs within an assigned district or market, rotating among locations based on business need. This developmental role is intended to prepare leaders for a permanent club-based Sales and Service Manager position. Transition to that position is expected as opportunities arise, based on business need, performance, and readiness. The SSMF reports to the District Manager. While supporting a club, the SSMF partners with that club’s General Manager and Sales and Service Manager. Sales and Service Experts and Associates continue to report to the club’s Sales and Service Manager, or directly to the SSMF when no Sales and Service Manager is assigned. The role involves regular local travel between assigned clubs and travel for training and meetings. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, frequent interaction throughout the club, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting or moving weights up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment includes cleaning agents, fitness equipment, moving mechanical parts, and noise typical of an active fitness and wellness setting.
