About The Position

This role directs and coordinates the activities of personnel in a bank facility, aiding the Market Manager in ensuring the branch meets financial, operational, and growth plans. The position requires displaying and reinforcing excellent sales and service to all customers and employees.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
  • Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage inside sales activities for the branch sales incentive program and work closely with the Sales & Service Supervisor and the Universal Bankers to ensure weekly goals are being met.
  • Display and reinforce excellent customer sales & service to all customers and employees.
  • Direct and coordinate the sales activities of the branch.
  • Provide coaching to attain outstanding customer sales & service while as outlined in the Retail Sales Manual.
  • Monitor branch office to ensure that security procedures are being followed and that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Provide sales & services to potential consumer and commercial account customers to generate additional business and to promote positive public relations.
  • Evaluate all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and objectives; recommends changes to manager.
  • Oversee and assist the Sales and Service Associates I & II with branch operational performance.
  • Perform job related duties and activities as requested by management including the participation of special projects and events.
  • Maintain and develop a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of customers.
  • Maintain/improve the financial stability of the branch.
  • Meet sales goals as outlined in the Retail Sales Manual.
  • Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information as directed in banking procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations that are applicable to their specific job duties.
  • Complete all assigned training within the allotted time frame.
  • Provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all customers and employees.
  • Each position within the Company shares in the cross-selling of the Company's products and services.
