About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Sales and Risk Consultant to join their team. MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. This role involves gathering and analyzing prospect coverage information, preparing risk evaluations, and recommending optimal client coverage while ensuring regulatory compliance. The consultant will also work with Business Development Executives and Client Advisors to grow referral sources and continuously enhance sales skills through training.

Requirements

• 4 years of directly related business development/client service experience.
• Successful Sales and Risk Consultant experience with high-net-worth clients essential.
• P&C licensed and HNW personal lines insurance experience necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather current coverage information from prospects.
• Evaluate and analyze data and prepare comprehensive risk evaluations to include product and service requirements.
• Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met and internal policies and procedures are followed.
• Work with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Client Advisors (CAs) to grow and expand referral sources.
• Incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.
• Negotiate with primarily multiple HNW insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.
• Generate referrals from COIs.
• Meet new business development goals and forecasting.
• Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.
• Use the EPIC Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.
