About The Position
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to perform a wide variety of duties in order to create and sustain a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to understand and follow directions
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise
- Hanging, pricing, and ticketing clothing
- Running clothes from the production room to the sales floor
- Straightening and maintaining clothing racks by department, category, and color
- Sorting and cleaning shoes, handbags, accessories, toys, and furniture for sale
- Using the cash register to ring customer sales
- Keeping the sales floor, bathrooms, entry, windows and sidewalks clean and tidy
- Serving all customers and donors courteously and respectfully
- Assisting in various capacities as directed by his/her immediate supervisor
