About The Position

The Hajoca Summer Rotational Internship Program is a ten-week paid rotational internship designed for college students interested in business leadership and wholesale distribution. The program offers hands-on experience in logistics, operations, sales, and customer service within Hajoca Corporation, the largest privately held wholesale distributor in the nation. Interns will gain exposure to daily operations of a Profit Center, including shipping, receiving, deliveries, warehouse management, counter sales, inside sales, and outside sales. The final four weeks involve working on a special project tailored to test and sharpen operational, sales, and service skills, assigned by the Profit Center manager.

Requirements

• College student
• Desire to lead a team and pursue entrepreneurial ventures
• Demonstrated leadership skills through involvement in student clubs, sports, or volunteer organizations
• Ability to excel in a wide range of tasks, showcasing both interpersonal and critical-thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous exposure to sales, operations, and/or customer service

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience in shipping, receiving, deliveries, and warehouse management.
• Explore the sales side of the business, interacting with customers and vendors in counter sales, inside sales, and outside sales.
• Work on a special project designed to test and sharpen operational, sales, and service skills.
• Tackle real-life challenges faced by industry experts under mentorship.
