About The Position

The Sales & Management Trainee Program is designed to launch recent graduates into leadership roles in branch management, outside sales, or operations. Over the course of 18 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience, receive one-on-one mentorship, and develop the skills needed to run a branch and lead a team. This program involves rolling up your sleeves, building relationships with customers, and learning every aspect of how the business operates, with a career track offering unlimited growth potential.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (any field, completed by the program start date).
  • Willingness to relocate upon completion of the program.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Kneeling, squatting, climbing, and walking.
  • Operation of office equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
  • Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through all areas of the business to gain a 360° view of customer service and branch growth.
  • Learn systems and processes focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers with quotes, orders, and technical questions, building long-term relationships.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by resolving issues and providing proactive support.
  • Gain confidence in the sales process, from generating new business to supporting existing accounts.
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely product delivery and communicate updates to customers.
  • Process orders, quotes, and returns with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Learn warehouse and showroom operations, including inventory management and purchasing.
  • Support the branch manager in daily operations.
  • Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Train on equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Partner with a mentor and receive ongoing professional training.
  • Attend seminars, business meetings, and job shadowing opportunities.
  • Progress through the program with clear milestones and feedback.
