About The Position

D1 Training Brandon is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Sales & Growth Manager who wants more than just a job in fitness. We're looking for someone who loves sales, thrives on achieving ambitious goals, enjoys developing people, and wants to make a meaningful impact on a growing business. This is not a traditional front-desk or sales associate position. You'll take ownership of growing our membership base, generating new business, building community relationships, and creating a high-performing sales operation. For the right person, this role offers a clear opportunity to grow into a General Manager position as the business expands.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a sales-driven environment, preferably fitness, wellness, or another membership-based business.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently close sales.
  • Experience coaching, training, or leading other team members.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, conducting in-person consultations, and asking for the sale.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing performance through measurable KPIs.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of taking initiative without constant supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of fitness, membership, or consultative sales experience.
  • Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Membership Director, Fitness Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience generating business through community partnerships, events, and referral programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting, and membership management platforms.
  • Passion for fitness, athletics, and helping people achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales pipeline from initial lead contact through assessment, closing, and onboarding.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, consultations, and membership presentations.
  • Consistently achieve monthly membership and personal training sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through memberships, personal training, referrals, and new programs.
  • Track conversion rates, revenue performance, and sales activity to continuously improve results.
  • Proactively develop new leads through local partnerships, community outreach, events, referrals, and grassroots marketing.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, sports organizations, and community groups.
  • Create and execute initiatives to attract new adult members and student-athletes.
  • Reactivate previous prospects and identify opportunities within our existing membership base.
  • Bring new ideas to the table and take responsibility for turning them into measurable results.
  • Lead by example through personal sales performance and consistent execution.
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Head Coach to improve the member experience and identify growth opportunities.
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and achievement.
  • Learn the operational and financial aspects of managing a successful fitness facility.
  • Participate in business planning, performance reviews, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Help improve member retention, customer experience, and overall facility performance.
  • Demonstrate the leadership capabilities required to eventually manage the facility independently.
