About The Position

As the Sales and Communication intern, you will support Métaphores US & Canada team with sales, merchandising, and communication responsibilities. You will gain valuable experience through supporting sales operations, analyzing performance and assisting in executing our communication plan as well as important day-to-day functions.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or a master’s degree (must be enrolled in classes for the duration of the internship)
Showing a passion for luxury design and craftmanship
Creative with strong written communication skills
Fluent in English and French
Willing to learn and an all-round team player
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Technologically competent and proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

Sales support and performance analysis
Partner with showrooms in the US to support their ordering needs, stock and price requests
Support the creation of new client and quotes in our internal sales system
Assist the team with the process of CFA (Fabric cuttings for approval)
Interact with our office in France to partner on special projects and requests
Support the commercial team with the creation of monthly sales reports, identifying and analyzing performance opportunities and KPIs
Support in fabric sampling allocations and replenishment process
Assist in monitoring and updating our sampling ordering website when needed
Support of merchandising needs for the launch of our new collection
Assist in the execution of the visual merchandising plan for our showrooms in the US & Canada
Support the development and execution of the brand’s communication plan
Partner on press requests and collect press and digital editorials for internal quarterly communication activity reports
Assist in the planning and participation in events and showhouses in the design sector
Executes all other duties assigned by Manager
