Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Provide analytical support to the Kroger Team. Develop reporting systems that monitor key metrics and provide actionable insights to the team. Create reporting systems that identify category trends, business trends, opportunities and threats to the business. Analyze data to provide insights and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify geographical sales trends to assist in identifying new segmented business opportunities. Develop post promotional analysis to determine efficient promotional strategies. Assist in creating customer interfacing materials. This is a role to pivot into account management or another elevated role internally. Need someone with strong initiative, communication skills, analytics and profound proficiency at Microsoft applications.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in an analytical role, required
  • AC Nielsen experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Previous experience within a CPG/Food company
  • Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Must be a clear solid communicatory
  • Ability to multi-task projects and continually prioritize workload as customer and internal demands require, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required
  • Strong Project Management Capabilities
  • Proven Analytical skills required

Responsibilities

  • Create and provide ongoing regular reporting need to create a suite of reports that lend to a consistent disciplined approach of reviewing and analyzing the business.
  • Be available for ADHOC sales reporting as business dictates.
  • Complete store mapping analysis providing insights to the team for gap-fill recommendations and gaining added points of distribution.
  • Analyze Kroger performance against other competition in market to identify actionable insights that can be brought to the customer through the account manager.
  • Provide retail pricing analysis of competitive items at Kroger and in the remaining market with recommendations for pricing action.
  • Maintain internal price list information for Kroger.
  • Coordinate some private label commercialization activities such as coordinating samples for 3rd party sensory testing
  • Utilize Nielsen tools and the Category team when researching sales and retail changes.
