About The Position

The Sales Analyst delivers timely and accurate reporting with value-added insights to drive the business forward on an ongoing basis. This role plays a crucial function with high visibility to Senior Leadership across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Marketing.
  • Proficient in database management. Familiarity with relational database concepts.
  • A basic understanding of forecasting and production planning methodologies is strongly encouraged.
  • Familiarity with POS Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Inventory Analysis, Customer Analysis and Strategic planning.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel is required.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data and mine to draw strategic insights with a sense of urgency, and succinctly represent it in an engaging and fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects at once, last-minute requests, and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude.
  • Analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent ability to synthesize information/data with storytelling.
  • Understanding of customer supply chain and ordering processes.
  • Basic working knowledge of syndicated data and applications, including Circana or IRI.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional role and in multiple projects at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a CPG and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Python, R, TPM/TPO, and CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales reports using relevant sales and production data.
  • Provide assistance to sales and trade activities for distribution to a variety of functional areas including demand planning, business management, sales and marketing.
  • Research and evaluate current economic conditions that may affect product sales.
  • Collect and analyze relevant data on sales team performance to evaluate progress in meeting sales goals.
  • Consistently deliver innovative ideas to drive the business forward.
  • Periodically conducts training for salespeople regarding technology solutions.
  • Supports a team of up to 75 salespeople.
  • Performs special projects and other related duties, as assigned.
