About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to support one of our strategic accounts. This role will focus on managing the operational and reporting functions of customer accounts within the food manufacturing industry, ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and strategic alignment with sales objectives. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate customer quotes, customer data, timely order processing, and seamless coordination between departments to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, or account administration in a food manufacturing or CPG environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of food industry regulations (e.g., FDA, SQF, HACCP) is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in food manufacturing, CPG, major retail or foodservice accounts.
  • Familiarity with EDI platforms and customer compliance portals.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and production planning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer master data including but not limited to project/pipeline tracking, pricing, product codes, special billing and customer KPI scorecard entries.
  • Streamline sales operations by assisting in the preparation of executive-ready sales reports.
  • Support the development of sales strategies and ensure that sales processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness including identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and patterns, including sales performance, product demand, planning and sales service.
  • Research and analyze the customer landscape including competitive product offerings and pricing and deliver reporting and insights to support sales strategy.
  • Assist with providing insights related to trends to support the sales strategy and customer presentations.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to guide business planning by analyzing historical data and gathering relevant inputs to estimate volume and pipeline over specific periods.
  • Manage preparation for key customer internal and external strategy meetings, ensuring alignment with sales priorities and enabling data-driven decision-making through timely follow-up and insights.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Commercialization, R&D, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Support audits and traceability requests by maintaining accurate and accessible records.
