About The Position

The Sales Ambassador role at Sprouts Farmers Market involves proactively engaging customers, helping them discover new and exciting products, and spreading product knowledge. This position requires delivering an extraordinary customer service experience in a fast-paced and friendly environment, assisting customers in making healthy choices, and discovering new products. Sprouts Farmers Market is a neighborhood grocery store focusing on high-quality, farm-fresh produce, natural meats, and bulk goods, all within a fun, friendly, old-fashioned farmer’s market setting. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
Thrives on customer engagement
Ability to suggestively sell product
Willingness to learn and grow
Ability to follow cooking directions
Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office
Strong organizational skills
Results-oriented mindset
Problem solving skills
Intermediate level computer skills

Responsibilities

Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
Coordinating all event activities, including: Event setup and takedown
Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
Maintaining program specific equipment
Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base
