About The Position

The Sales Administrator develops and maintains relationships with Ingredient and Co-manufacturing customers. This role enters customer orders, reviews inventory, monitors blanket agreements, communicates with customers, processes complaints, responds to inquiries, and collaborates closely with Sales, Demand Analysts, Transportation, and Warehouse Coordinators. The position also confirms product availability for shipment and, when necessary, facilitates variance approvals to release product. Sales Administrators help ensure customers are satisfied with the company, its products, and its services.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of mathematics and cash management related to processing invoices, payments, inventory, and pricing.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of office administration to include communication, decision making, customer service, time management, organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply customer specific guidelines, rules, contracts, procedures, and policies.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of factors in situations where limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to effectively use business communication skills to professionally prepare clear, concise, and accurate correspondence, documents, reports and other written materials.
  • Ability to identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions.
  • Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion.
  • Ability to gather, evaluate, and interpret information.
  • Ability to effectively organize, plan, and execute.
  • Ability to type 60 wpm.
  • Ability to meet behaviors established in Tree Top's performance management and development process.
  • Associate's degree and/or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in customer service, order entry, sales support, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams for video meetings/calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with EDI transactions and customer portals is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of Lean tools and methodologies preferred.
