About The Position

Responsible for locating, evaluating, and purchasing pre-owned vehicles for resale, often from auctions, other dealers, and customers for multiple Reineke locations per each location’s inventory needs and specific parameters. Also responsible for communicating with the appropriate person at each dealership location and arranging transportation for those vehicles. If there are any discrepancies, the exclusive buyer will arbitrate those vehicles and promptly resolve the issues in the event the vehicle is different than presented.

Requirements

  • Experience with Auto Auctions: Experience in the automobile auction process is a significant asset.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills are essential for securing favorable prices.
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Valuation: Need to be able to accurately assess the value of vehicles.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Need to be able to identify and resolve issues that arise during the acquisition process.
  • Customer Relations: They need to be able to build relationships with customers who are looking to sell their vehicles.

  • Analyze Market Trends: Monitor market trends and auction prices to predict future inventory needs and optimize purchasing strategies.
  • Build Relationships: Build relationships with customers who are looking to sell their vehicles.
  • Focus on Inventory: Their role is crucial for maintaining a strong and profitable inventory of pre-owned vehicles.
