About The Position

We aim to provide an experience that members build their week around, delivering a premium member experience that is actually used. The Sales and Acquisition Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving membership revenue through effective member acquisition and retention strategies. This role oversees the entire membership funnel, from initial contact to renewal, and is accountable for total membership revenue performance, including volume, conversion, and membership mix. The manager will lead a team of Membership Coordinators, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure the club attracts and retains the right members.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • At least 2 years in a team lead or management capacity
  • Experience with CRM and pipeline management (MyAltea)
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, renewed annually
  • Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Background in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a membership-based business
  • Demonstrated track record of developing people and building team performance
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Kinesiology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead new member acquisition, managing the full funnel from lead generation and prospect outreach to tour booking, consultative tour delivery, and closing sales.
  • Manage and develop a team of Membership Coordinators, setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and creating a high-performance culture.
  • Drive membership mix, focusing on attracting the right members and increasing Diamond penetration.
  • Oversee retention and reactivation efforts, monitoring engagement data, intervening with at-risk members, and designing campaigns to bring members back.
  • Engage in community outreach, including corporate partnerships, referral programs, local business development, and community events, to build relationships and generate leads.
