About The Position

The Sales Account Manager will support customer purchasing, accounting, engineering, and quality departments on all business issues between the company and its customers. This role also supports internal departments for efforts and issues related to launch, accounting, customer service, quality, engineering, and manufacturing. The Sales Account Manager will provide support to customer purchasing on quote contents and offer feedback on quote competitiveness. Additionally, the role supports the resolution of production discrepancies related to manufacturing concepts/capability, print specifications, and gaging techniques. The Sales Account Manager will also support all engineering, part design, and part development requirements initiated internally or by customers. This position assists in making recommendations on department goals and objectives that align with Corporate Goals and Objectives, as well as department capital expenditures, labor, and expense accounts pertinent to job functions. A key responsibility is to accurately create, implement, and maintain all Technical Specifications (TS) and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) processes, procedures, and forms for assigned areas and/or responsibilities. Once established, these processes will be communicated via training to necessary personnel to maximize company profits. The role requires 85% domestic and 15% international travel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of experience in the stamping industry utilizing stamping technology to make automotive parts
  • 1 year in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • 1 year in Excel
  • 1 year in Plex
  • 1 year in PowerPoint
  • 1 year in Word
  • 1 year in Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Support customer purchasing, accounting, engineering and quality departments on all business issues between the company and its customers.
  • Support all of the departments for internal efforts and issues with launch, accounting, customer service and quality, engineering and manufacturing.
  • Support customer purchasing on contents of quotes and provide feedback to the company on the competitiveness of the quotes.
  • Provide support toward resolution of production discrepancies as they apply to manufacturing concepts/capability, print specifications and gaging techniques.
  • Support all engineering, part design and part development requirements initiated internally or by customers.
  • Assist in making recommendations on department goals and objectives that align with the Corporate Goals and Objectives as well as department capital expenditures, labor and expense accounts as it pertains to job functions.
  • Accurately create, implement and keep up to date all Technical Specifications (TS) and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) processes, procedures and forms for assigned area(s) and/or responsibilities.
  • Communicate established processes, procedures and forms via training to all necessary personnel within the department(s) and/or tasks maximizing the profits of the company.
