About The Position

Under the direction of the Sales Business Unit Manager, the Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing new business and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role requires strategic account management, business development, and proactive customer engagement to achieve sales targets and support company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory to meet Company sales goals and budgets.
  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying prospective customers, evaluating their needs, and presenting company capabilities.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through effective account management and customer service.
  • Analyze customer needs and prepare appropriate solutions, recommendations, and presentations.
  • Communicate customer requirements internally and ensure follow-through on all projects.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the Company to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends and competitors' products.
  • Provide regular reports to management, including daily call logs, weekly activity reports, and territory analysis.
  • Support Accounts Receivable in minimizing aged invoices within the Business Unit.
  • Assist the Customer Service team in managing aged inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
