Sales Account Manager - South San Diego
About The Position
Ultradent, a world-wide leader in dental technology, is seeking a driven, accomplished professional to drive sales in the South San Diego territory. This is a base plus commission opportunity with an annual base salary ranging between $80,500 - $85,500, based on experience. The role involves building loyal relationships with dental professionals, prospecting for new customers, and growing current accounts to exceed territory growth goals and sales goals. Ideal candidates live in South San Diego, specifically zip codes 92013 or 92117, La Mesa, or Chula Vista. This is a great opportunity for experienced sales professionals or aspiring sales professionals to start their career in sales.
Requirements

- Strong prospecting/closing skills
- Must be able to teach, tailor and assert control to obtain and maintain customer’s business.
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to stay connected to new and innovative products
- Willing, capable and equipped to travel a minimum of 25% of the year, including mandatory trainings at Ultradent’s home office, National Sales Meeting, and other industry events
- Outside direct sales experience in a monthly quota-based environment
- BS/BA degree is preferred
Nice To Haves
- Dental sales experience is a plus
- Proven success in a sales role in a highly competitive market is preferred
- Clinical experience in a dental office is a plus and is encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Build loyal relationships with front office staff, hygienists and dentists by offering unique and valuable perspective on the market
