About The Position

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, with a primary focus on identifying and driving expansion selling and cross-selling opportunities. This includes proactively identifying additional needs within existing accounts, offering tailored solutions, and maximizing the value of our software products for each client. This role requires not only ensuring successful implementation and use of our solutions but also continuously seeking opportunities for growth within current accounts. A deep understanding of the oil and gas industry is essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate how our software solutions can deliver ongoing value, foster long-term partnerships, and contribute to clients’ success. This position will require up to 50% travel to engage with clients, attend meetings, and explore new business opportunities in key markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or similar coursework OR equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience in SaaS sales
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas or Transportation Industries
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, client relationship management, or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas or software industries
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including key processes, challenges, and technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate technical software solutions to non-technical clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach to resolving issues.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Employment eligibility to work with PakEnergy in the United States is required, as the company does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates are responsible for maintaining any required work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication, site visits, and feedback sessions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our software solutions, effectively communicating their benefits and capabilities to clients in the oil and gas sector.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion by understanding clients' evolving needs and suggesting relevant software enhancements or new products.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensure smooth implementation, and work closely with clients to resolve any issues, helping them derive maximum value from the software.
  • Partner with technical support, and product teams to ensure that clients’ needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage contract renewals, negotiate terms, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and business objectives.
  • Facilitate client training on product features and functionalities, ensuring clients are fully equipped to leverage the software’s capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, feedback, and account details.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on account status, opportunities, and challenges.
