We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our 50,000 square-feet lithium-ion battery production facility in Fremont, California for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or another customer-facing role within a technical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Growth Mindset: High energy, strong work ethic, and a clear desire to grow into increased responsibility over time.
  • Customer-Facing Skills: Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Communication & Organization: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Some experience working with internal teams such as operations, supply chain, engineering, or quality is preferred.
  • Tools & Technology: Familiarity with CRM platforms and openness to using AI-driven sales and prospecting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as a day-to-day commercial contact and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional engagement.
  • Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders by understanding their operational, technical, and commercial needs.
  • Coordinate internally to support issue resolution related to quality, delivery schedules, logistics, and ongoing customer requests.
  • Actively support new business development efforts through prospecting, lead follow-up, and early customer engagement.
  • Help convert new leads into qualified opportunities and assist in progressing deals through the sales funnel.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through follow-on programs, volume growth, or additional use cases.
  • Work closely with internal teams across manufacturing, supply chain, shipping/logistics, quality, and international sales to support customer programs.
  • Act as a coordination point between customers and internal stakeholders, helping ensure expectations, timelines, and requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Develop comfort operating across time zones and cultures as part of a global organization.
  • Assist in managing sales pipelines, maintaining CRM accuracy, and supporting forecasting activities.
  • Track customer activity, open action items, and next steps to ensure consistent deal progression.
  • Learn and apply structured sales processes to improve close rates and customer engagement.
  • Use CRM systems and AI-enabled sales and lead-generation tools to identify prospects, prioritize outreach, and manage follow-ups.
  • Support outbound and inbound sales efforts through data-driven prospecting and research.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in learning new tools, platforms, and sales methodologies.
  • Build a strong working understanding of the company’s battery products, performance characteristics, and value propositions.
  • Communicate product capabilities clearly to customers, escalating technical depth to engineering partners when appropriate.
  • Participate in customer calls, presentations, and reviews alongside senior sales and technical team members.
  • Support pricing discussions, quotations, and contract execution in collaboration with senior sales leadership.
  • Ensure customer requirements are documented accurately and aligned internally before commitments are made.
  • Provide regular updates on account activity, pipeline status, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, program status, and follow-up actions.
