About The Position

The primary focus for Account Manager – North America, is to develop a sales pipeline to support future sales and business planning in association with assigned clients and Evans Global Aviation Aviation Network locations. Additionally, they manage the day-to-day account management process, coordinate account meetings and service support resources with assigned accounts. Develops and maintains a sales pipeline to support future forecasting, retention, and business planning for assigned clients through a strategic selling and account plan targeting specific opportunities. Provides sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts and applicable research. Provides direction and works cross-functionally with other Global account managers, new business development, service delivery team and business units to meet client’s expectations. They have the responsibility for introducing new Evans Global Aviation Aviation products and services to assigned account base. Represents Evans Global Aviation Aviation in a manner consistent with Evans Global Aviation’s Corporate Vision; includes being consultative with clients, projecting a positive corporate image, having general passion for our clients’ success, and maintaining communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all team members and clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in General or Business aviation sector required.
  • Proven sales experience in General or Business Aviation sector required. 5+ years sales experience.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to continuously improve sales and customer experience.
  • Must be highly organized, detail orientated and be able to multi-task and prioritize cross-functional duties.
  • Must demonstrate a high energy level, a positive attitude and a willingness to work cross-functionally with others.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment.
  • Strong written and verbal skills (for internal as well as external use). Must be fluent in English.
  • Experience selling aviation services.
  • Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Exhibit positive teamwork, loyalty to the Company and co-workers; always exhibit a confident and professional manner
  • Must be able to negotiate and readily make decisions that align with sales targets, pricing strategies and customer segment.
  • Must have cultural understanding and empathy for how business is conducted.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time or as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze and execute strategic selling and account plans for assigned customers. Identify, qualify and execute up-sell / cross-sell opportunities within existing assigned client base for Evans Global Aviation Aviation and Air Culinaire; follow sales process from start to finish including analyzing client’s business needs (conducting research); monitoring account; gathering pertinent information; conducting demonstrations and creating proposals.
  • Manage all aspects of customer experience by partnering with internal resources to exceed customer expectations.
  • Take ownership of on-boarding process from new sales.
  • Manage accounts through service delivery reviews and profile management and grow the client relationship by regularly contacting customers via phone, email, in person, and/or tradeshows.
  • Report on all CRM and sales activities via reports in our CRM system, maintenance of client information in the sales database, weekly status reports, regular meetings with Reporting Manager; based on these calls, report any findings about market or industry conditions; feedback on Evans Global Aviation products and services and any concerns that may affect sales and client retention.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of target account lists, lead management, and active sales opportunities (<90 days).
  • Become familiar with competitors’ products in the course of day-to-day duties and with reports from marketing to be aware of any progress or changes of competitors’ products or strategies. Share market intelligence from day-to-day duties with Marketing through established tools and use collective intelligence to enhance decision-making in day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
  • Represent company at assigned trade shows and events designed to maintain and enhance current relationships; participate in and help manage Evans Global Aviation sponsored events.
  • Meet goals for customer retention and customer loyalty index including close-the-loop process in alignment with established goals and process ownership to their reporting manager.
  • Collaborate with Management and Country Managers on issues affecting assigned clients; develop lessons learned and share information with assigned team.
  • Review Daily Movement and other operational reports and action or follow-up on any issues with active trips.
  • Perform post trip follow-ups by contacting client 2-3 days after completion services to get feedback.
  • Stay up to date and share internally on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage negotiations for high-value contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Ensure that all sales activities and processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations and the Customer experience team, to improve how we deliver a higher level of excellent service, consistently and across the network.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a designated area, process, system, or product.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives established by sales leadership.
  • Effectively multitask while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and deliver presentations to peers during training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
