About The Position

ID+A is a Specialty Contractor focused on the planning, design, and construction of interior environments for corporate, healthcare, and education clients. With in‑house expertise spanning interior construction, prefab solutions, glass fronts, casework, soundmasking, FF&E, and technical services, we provide our clients with a single point of accountability from concept through completion. We are seeking a Sales Account Executive – Interior Construction to manage and grow an existing Nashville account base while continuing to expand ID+A’s presence in the market. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, and working closely with architects, designers, and construction partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction sales, architectural product sales, or related B2B sales roles
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project delivery methods, and job site environments
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable managing a sales territory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships within the architectural, design, or general contractor community preferred
  • Adjacent experience in commercial interiors, FF&E, manufacturer representation, or related markets considered
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business in the Nashville market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and other project influencers
  • Identify and pursue new interior construction sales opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Plan and deliver presentations to project teams and decision‑makers
  • Collaborate internally to integrate ID+A’s full suite of interior construction and specialty solutions
  • Prepare, revise, and negotiate proposals and contracts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and client information in the CRM
  • Achieve and exceed sales and profitability goals
