About The Position

Sale Day Drivers help move cars through the auction lanes during the car auction. This role is ideal for car enthusiasts looking to make extra money one day a week, specifically on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
Basic computer skills are required.
Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to perform Light to Medium Physical Work.
Frequent standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking.
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.

Nice To Haves

Potential for running, jumping, yelling or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines, including wearing a seatbelt, placing the vehicle in park or neutral when stopping, and following the ADESA wedge.
Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.
Advise supervisor or lane captain of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately.
Practice and ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
Immediately report to manager or supervisor anything that may jeopardize the ability to physically or legally operate a motor vehicle.
Immediately report to manager or supervisor all driving-related incidents, including traffic citations, warnings, accidents, or mechanical problems experienced on or off the job.
