About The Position

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking motivated and reliable candidates to join our team! For this position, we are seeking part-time to full-time candidates to prepare fresh salads, wraps, and other made-from-scratch menu items in a high-volume and fast-paced kitchen.

Requirements

Must be 16 Years old to apply
Strong attention to detail
High standards of cleanliness
Ability to lead and take direction
Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods
Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations
Team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Preparing customized salads and other made-from-scratch menu items
Ensuring only quality finished products are served to our guests
Adhering to recipes and Food Manual Guidelines
Accurately producing finished items based on order modifications
Stocking food preparation table and coolers
Following proper plating/boxing and garnishing guidelines for each unique cold menu item
Using proper portioning utensils and following recipe guidelines
Working cooperatively with other kitchen team members, servers, and management
Maintaining an overall clean environment
Ability to multi-task and complete tasks safely and efficiently
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen on an as-needed basis
Following all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols
Safe handling, use, and storage of sanitation and cleaning chemicals
