About The Position

Southern Foodservice Management is seeking a Salad Bar Prep Cook Attendant for their Schaeffler location in Wooster, OH. This role involves preparing and assembling food items for the salad bar and yogurt bar, stocking the grab-and-go cooler, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service. The position also includes replenishing food, breaking down service areas, and assisting with general kitchen duties, including catering, cleaning, and dishwashing. All staff members are responsible for additional duties assigned by management, which may include supporting meal production, service, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble yogurt bar, salad bar.
  • Rotate and stock grab and go cooler.
  • Operate equipment such as slicers, buffalo choppers, and ovens safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized salad station, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines; both in the FOH and the BOH preparation area.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their needs accurately.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service and food quality.
  • Replenish food items as required during service, breakdown service areas after the meal period and assisting with general kitchen duties as needed, including caterings, cleaning and dishwashing.
  • Support meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
  • Perform other duties or tasks assigned by Managers or Supervisors.
