About The Position

The Salad Bar Associate is responsible for preparing and maintaining the salad bar. This includes cleaning, peeling, and slicing fruits and vegetables, operating slicing and peeling equipment, pricing products, and displaying items. The associate will also create fruit and vegetable trays to high presentation standards, maintain product knowledge, keep the salad bar area clean, and interact courteously with customers. A requirement for this position is to be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean, peel, slice, etc. all vegetables and fruit
• Operate all slicing and peeling equipment
• Price products for salad bar
• Display and put away all products
• Make fruit trays and vegetable trays in the highest standards of presentation
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department
• Keep area around salad bar neat and clean
• Interact with customers in a courteous and tactful manner
