About The Position

Il Forno Pizza is looking for qualified applicants for our Salad / Appetizer line cook position. Experience working in a scratch kitchen is preferred. Il Forno is a wood-fired pizza restaurant with a focus on local produce. All food is prepped in house. Charcuterie is hung and cured on site. Requirements

• Basic knife skills
• Ability to follow given directions as assigned
• Ability to keep cool under pressure
• Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced scratch kitchen

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a scratch kitchen is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
