About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SailPoint Developer to join our team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, with a strong emphasis on SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ). You will be responsible for customizing IAM functionalities, integrating with various enterprise applications, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SailPoint, Java development, and IAM architecture, along with excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Possession of Security+ or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience designing and implementing IAM solutions.
  • At least 4 years of experience implementing enterprise identity governance & administration (IGA) solutions, such as: SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) or IdentityNow, Saviynt Security Manager (SSM) or Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC), IBM Security Verify Governance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ, including lifecycle workflows, certifications, policies, connectors, and APIs.
  • In-depth understanding of SailPoint object model and extensibility framework.
  • Fluent in Java (J2EE / Java Beans) with practical experience building custom rules, workflows, and integrations.
  • Proven ability to design and implement enterprise Identity Credential & Access Management (ICAM) solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Active Directory, LDAP/Kerberos, and application authentication integrations.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across IAM, PAM, and integrated platforms.
  • Experience supporting production environments, outages, emergency access, and DR exercises.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business outcomes for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom IAM functionalities using Java (J2EE/Java Beans) to support end-to-end identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access requests, certifications, and access reconciliation.
  • Implement and customize SailPoint IIQ objects, APIs, workflows, rules (BeanShell), and connectors to meet complex business and compliance requirements.
  • Tune and optimize SailPoint provisioning performance by improving BeanShell rule execution, connector response handling, and system workflows.
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations with enterprise applications, directories, and platforms using SailPoint APIs and connector frameworks.
  • Ensure secure and reliable data synchronization across identity sources, target systems, and authoritative systems.
  • Maintain PAM infrastructure, including component server health, patching, and vulnerability remediation in alignment with security standards.
  • Automate and support PAM operational activities, including incident tickets, outages, emergency access processes, and DR/BCP drills.
  • Ensure IAM solutions comply with internal security policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Implement and enforce RBAC, access control policies, and governance controls to protect sensitive systems and data.
  • Maintain key access governance metrics and KPIs, providing leadership visibility into IAM health, risk, and compliance posture.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI to track governance metrics, operational performance, and compliance readiness.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, integrations, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and Application Owners to align IAM solutions with organizational standards.
  • Lead technical design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and support project managers to ensure successful and timely IAM delivery.
