Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant

Chai Vision201 District, VA
$1,500 - $2,500Onsite

About The Position

Chai Vision is a fast-growing eCommerce company managing a portfolio of direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands across high-impact categories—from fitness and wellness to home goods, pet care, children’s products, outdoor products, kitchen essentials, and supplements. We scale rapidly on platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop through a data-driven, community-first approach and a relentless focus on product-market fit. The organization is driven by a data-informed approach to growth, disciplined operational execution, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and customer experiences at scale. Chai Vision continues to invest in expanding its omnichannel sales strategy and retail presence worldwide, offering team members the opportunity to contribute within a fast-paced, performance-oriented organization focused on sustainable growth and long-term value creation. ChaiVision is implementing Sage Intacct as its ERP to support a business that operates across multiple brands and channels — Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, and retail — and needs a financial system built for multi-entity, multi-channel operations from day one. Getting the implementation right requires a dedicated technical resource: someone who can build the chart of accounts structure, configure dimension frameworks, develop custom reports, and integrate Sage Intacct with OmnifiCX and SellerCloud correctly the first time. The Sage Intacct Developer owns the technical side of the implementation — configuring the platform to ChaiVision's requirements, building the integrations that connect Sage Intacct to OmnifiCX and SellerCloud, developing the custom reports Finance and Leadership need from go-live, and establishing the governance standards that keep the ERP reliable as the business grows. The role reports to Imran Malik and works in close coordination with Finance, Operations, and Data & BI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and configuring Sage Intacct, including at least one full end-to-end implementation cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct Platform Services (XML/REST API), Smart Rules, custom reports, and workflow automation.
  • Experience building integrations between an ERP and commerce/OMS platforms (e.g., middleware, order management systems).
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with data migration and data validation at scale.
  • You have 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct implementation experience — you have been through a full implementation cycle before and understand what good configuration decisions look like from the start.
  • You understand how financial data should be structured in an ERP and can translate a multi-brand, multi-channel business model into the right chart of accounts, dimensions, and entity structure.
  • You are methodical and precise — ERP development has financial consequences, so you test before you deploy and document everything.
  • You are comfortable working across integrated systems and can troubleshoot integration issues at the data layer between platforms like Sage Intacct, OmnifiCX, and SellerCloud.
  • You communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders — Finance and Operations teams will depend on what you build, and you explain what you're doing and why.
  • You build things right the first time — implementation decisions are hard to undo, so you think through downstream consequences before committing to a configuration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring multi-entity, multi-brand, or multi-channel financial structures is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical implementation of Sage Intacct — configuring the chart of accounts, dimension structure, entity relationships, and module setup to match ChaiVision's multi-brand, multi-channel business model.
  • Build custom reports, Smart Rules, and automated workflows as part of the go-live configuration, ensuring Finance has the reporting it needs from day one, not as an afterthought.
  • Configure user roles, permissions, and access controls aligned to ChaiVision's organizational structure during implementation.
  • Document all configuration decisions with rationale — implementation choices made without documentation become technical debt that is expensive to unwind.
  • Design and build the integrations between Sage Intacct and connected systems — primarily OmnifiCX (commerce intelligence middleware) and SellerCloud (OMS) — using Sage Intacct Platform Services (XML/REST API).
  • Define integration data mapping, test sync flows before go-live, and resolve issues at the API or data layer during implementation and post-launch stabilization.
  • Coordinate with Imran Malik on integration architecture decisions and with the OmnifiCX Admin on platform-side mapping and connection setup.
  • Own the data migration workstream — mapping historical financial data from the current system into Sage Intacct and validating accuracy before go-live.
  • Build the go-live report set for Finance, Logistics, and Leadership — P&L by brand, channel performance, landed cost analysis, and chargeback tracking — configured and validated before launch.
  • Coordinate with the Power BI / DataSelf team before implementation decisions are locked, ensuring Sage Intacct data structures support downstream BI reporting requirements from the start.
  • Document all report logic, field definitions, and calculation methodologies as part of the implementation deliverables.
  • Manage go-live cutover — coordinating data migration validation, user access provisioning, integration testing, and sign-off before the business goes live on Sage Intacct.
  • Own platform health monitoring post go-live — integration sync status, scheduled job completion, and data integrity across all active modules — and maintain a change log from day one.
  • Establish post-launch maintenance standards — platform update review, change management process, and ongoing configuration governance.
  • Support Finance and Operations teams through the go-live period and stabilization phase — troubleshooting, access issues, and post-launch configuration adjustments.
