The Safety Trainer is responsible for training new employees, production, and maintenance at all levels in compliance programs. This role involves keeping detailed records of safety documents and trainings, performing regular safety walks throughout the facility, and conducting industrial hygiene duties. The trainer will also assist the Occupational Health department in responses, plan and coordinate Safety Committee Meetings, and present in front of large groups. Additionally, the position may require assisting with job duties within the Safety and Occupational Health department as needed, and contributing to special projects.
