This position performs technical duties in the fields of industrial hygiene, safety engineering, environmental protection, and other related duties. JLG began in 1969, when our founder, John L. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field
1-plus years of environmental and/or safety experience

Nice To Haves

Background in environmental regulations
Must be willing to travel to various plant locations
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data

Responsibilities

Conducting industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilities
Developing and teaching safety and environmental training sessions
Serving as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all Oshkosh Corporation locations
Maintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrations
Assist with gathering and reporting on company injury statistics
Assist with Oshkosh Corporation Safety and Environmental Compliance Program review
Perform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices
