Safety and Support Trainer
About The Position
360 Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time Safety & Support Trainer to prepare clinical teams to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. The role trains Behavior Interventionists and Direct Support Professionals in crisis prevention, safety procedures, and best practices. The trainer delivers virtual and in-person training, supports onboarding and annual crisis intervention recertification, and provides hands-on coaching. The position is remote with travel throughout California as needed, and includes working with local clinical teams, tracking completion and compliance documentation, and helping improve training materials and learning experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least one year of experience as a Behavior Interventionist and/or Direct Support Professional utilizing ABA.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and interventions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Comfort facilitating both virtual and in-person training.
- Ability to travel throughout California as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when assisting clients.
- Ability to successfully complete LiveScan, TB screening, and employment verification.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain Crisis Intervention Trainer Certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging live virtual safety and crisis prevention training.
- Train new Direct Support Professionals during onboarding.
- Facilitate annual crisis intervention recertification courses.
- Coach and support Behavior Interventionists through hands-on skills training.
- Travel to California locations to provide in-person training as needed.
- Partner with local clinical teams to improve safety and training outcomes.
- Track training completion and maintain compliance documentation.
- Help enhance training materials and learning experiences.
