About The Position

Join an electrical contractor supporting operations across multiple Micron semiconductor construction sites in the Syracuse, NY area. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight while working directly with electrical crews and field leadership on active high-tech manufacturing projects.

Requirements

• NFPA 70E Certification Required
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Minimum 5+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
• Experience supporting electrical construction activities
• Strong field leadership and coaching abilities
• Ability to travel between multiple project locations
• Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Requirements
• Working knowledge of Electrical Construction Safety
• Working knowledge of Hazard Recognition & Risk Mitigation
• Working knowledge of Contractor Safety Management
• Working knowledge of Incident Investigation & Corrective Actions
• Working knowledge of Material Handling Operations
• Working knowledge of Fall Protection & Elevated Work
• Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Working knowledge of Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation
• Working knowledge of Multi-Site Safety Coordination
• Working knowledge of Foreman Development & Coaching

• Semiconductor or Manufacturing Construction Experience
• Electrical Contractor Experience
• Foreman Coaching and Mentoring Experience
• CHST, ASP, CSP, STS-C, or Other BCSP Credential
• Experience supporting multi-site construction operations
• Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety oversight for electrical construction crews
• Travel between multiple Micron project sites
• Coach foremen and field leadership on safety best practices
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor electrical construction activities and high-risk work
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions
• Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and supervision
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation and reporting
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all assigned sites
