About The Position
HazTek is seeking a Safety Professional to provide on-site support for a building improvement project. This individual will work with project personnel and contractors to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and support compliance with site safety requirements.
Requirements
- Construction safety experience
- OSHA 30
- Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and fall protection
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with contractors in an active construction environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills

Nice To Haves
- Experience working around combustible materials is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site walks and document safety observations.
- Review work activities for potential hazards, with particular attention to lockout/tagout and fall protection.
- Communicate safety concerns to field crews and project leadership and follow up on corrective actions.
- Participate in safety meetings and assist with incident reporting as needed.
- Maintain project safety documentation and support compliance with applicable regulations.
